German Honor Society Initiation

The department of Germanic Language and Literatures is excited to celebrate undergraduate and graduate students for their outstanding academic achievements and will induct new members into the National German Honor Society, Delta Phi Alpha.

As part of the induction festivities, students of “Erinnerungsorte”, all inductees themselves, will present their digital documentary commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Fall of the Wall and Philadelphia-based visual artist James B. Abbott will speak about his work “Berlin: Landscape of Memory”, which examines changes in landscape during and after the Fall of the Wall. 

Kaffee und Kuchen will be served at 4 PM in the Max-Kade Center. We are pleased to announce that this will be a Zero Waste Event.
