The exam is mandatory for all students who have had formal or informal German instruction, are new to the German program at Penn, and have not been exempted via external credit such as qualifying AP or IB scores.  You must register here for the exam: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdEOkP-WhulPsCZLqzfEA59poUO66h9...On the day of the exam, you will need to:

1. be registered 
2. bring your Penn ID
3. bring a laptop
