Dr. Purdie-Vaughns is a psychologist working at the forefront of scientific approaches to implicit bias, intergroup relations, and diversity.  Her presentation will outline some of the latest research on implicit bias in academic settings. The lecture is cosponsored by the Penn Forum for Women Faculty, the LGBTQ Center, the SAS Mellon Cross-Cultural Fund, the Perelman School of Medicine, the office of the Vice Provost, and the departments of English, Classical Studies, and Germanic Languages and Literatures.  It is open to all, so please encourage your students, friends, and colleagues from across Penn to attend.
