John Otto Magee has lived and worked in Germany for over 20 years.  >From 1995 until 1999, he worked for the CDU/CSU, consulting the party leader on matters of transatlantic relations. A graduate of Georgetown University and the Freie Universität Berlin, he works as a consultant to companies and organizations on questions of transatlantic integration. He is the author of Verstehen sich Deutsche und Amerikaner? (Do Germans and Americans understand each other?)

His lecture will be in English.
